many people live where sever winter storms happen every year,in which they normally lose power, even people that have mild winters like i do,is liable to lose power,.and that means, having different ways of heating the home,to cooking.and of course, this means having different ways of heating the home and different ways to cook.we have propane seeing how we're in the country.but there's no promise or guarantee we wont run out of it..and because of this.i've been working on different ways of keeping the home heated during the winter.i have a camp stove and 2-1 gallon propane bottles, oil lamps and candle.the candles are my primary concern there when it comes to house fires.so i'll use them as a last resort.i do plan on getting the 18-20 gallon bottles of propane and 3 or 4 heaters for them.and as for having a wood heater stove goes.im not sure that i'll be able to go that route.and that's for 2 reason.1st,we're living in a rent home.2nd,this is a old home.so i need to look into everything before deciding on what to do.and not do..pluss i need to have someone who knows what their doing and talking about,to have a look at the old fireplace and chimney to see if their safe to use or not..
