i know that not everyone can buy the needed canning supplies home canning..but yet,it's a great way to have food(s) on hand for emergencies.so i've started doing my own home canning.below is a pic of 7 quarts of beans n ham,and 2 quarts of chicken.i also have 4 pints of chicken broth as well..i know that it's not much,for the long run.but it's at least a head start on home canning..

today i'll be canning some homemade chicken soup....then i'll be sitting out everything i already have canned,to account of what i do have..this way i'll not only know what i have,and how much of each food item..but will know what to can next..
