i know not everyone can afford to go out and buy a food saver,or whats needed to go with them.including myself.so here's something i started doing,by the way of a mistake i made.i failed to get a 4LB bag of sugar during a shopping trip.in the pic,and on the left side.is a sugar container,we've had since i was a kid..the one in the middle,is a peanut butter jar.and the one on the right,is what apple cider,or what ever came in.i took the 10LB bag we had.and filled the sugar container.then the other 2.and yes the peanut butter jar is now empty.i have a bunch of the jars and jugs.in which i figure their not only idea for storing sugar.but beans,rice and other dry food items as well..

I found a "less expensive set on line vacucraft.net/4-sets I bought the starter set with the pump.it works great on small storage items. & does not need power to operate Great For campers to close stuff back up. Just a idea for some. Keebler.in s.Va.
