i figure,at least most here, have storage space issue(s) of one kind or another.be it sheelves, cabinets, totes, crates,to what ever..i've built and installed a sheelve above our kitchen sink.i've also built a U shaped set of sheelves out of 1x2 and 1x4 for food storage.both has more then paid for them selfs.i've also bought a free standing cabinet.in which it's paid for it self as well..there's many places in which we over look in one way or another..or simply dont think of a area as a storage area.like underneth a bed,or underneth a floor model radio on legs, there's free floor space there.then there's cornners of each room of the home,in which at some cornners are spoken for with furniture,or what ever.how about the other cornners thoe?..milk crates that hold 4-1 gallon jugs of milk.they can be used for food storage,to what ever.there's space between the doors and the celling.got anything there?night stands.some have avalible space under them..window ledges.some are deep enough to keep jars or something else there..some folks live in a wood frame homes,or a moble home.certain items can be kept there.attic's is a good location for non-parisable items..then there's the 5 gallon buckets with lids.their useable with foods and ammo..heavier item buckets on the bottom, with plywood on top of them, for better stacking..bottom line is,to walk through where you live,in which you take notice to the empty cornners and walls.and think of what you can put/install there, for more/better storage..
